Dutch Exams 2025
Spreken
The Speaking exam evaluates your ability to communicate in Dutch in 5 practical situations.
Each task will focus on clear and concise speech, so forming simple sentences and using relevant vocabulary. Remember, it’s not about being perfect
Schrijven
The Writing exam evaluates your ability to communicate in Dutch through writing.
You’ll need to write 3 letters or emails and these could be for formal or informal situations. Furthermore there are 2 different forms you’ll need to fill in.
Lezen
The Reading exam is about comprehension. You will read around 10 texts regarding every day and common daily situations.
All texts are multiple choice and there are 25 questions with the possible answers given through A to D options.
Luisteren
The Listening exam is also about comprehension. You will need to listen to around 10 audios regarding day to day situations.
All audios are multiple choice and there are 25 questions with the possible answers given through A to D options.

Start Prepping for the Exam
Students with level A2 can prepare themselves for the Naturalization exams. The total duration form level 0 to being prepared is around 10 – 12 months.
